Week Two is in the books, and it was another thrilling week of action on the gridiron. Below, we bring you the final scores and highlights from each of the Week 2 WNFC games.

Oregon Ravens at Utah Falcons

Final Score: 0-30

Play of the Game: Up by a score of 6-0 in the third quarter, Utah Falconz quarterback Sara Galica pitched the ball outside to running back Gina Magana who rumbled down to the Ravens 11 yard line for a 16-yard gain that set up the Falconz second score of the day en route to a 30-point victory.

Philly Phantomz at Washington Prodigy

Final Score: 0-41

Play of the Game: Midway through the second quarter and facing a fourth-and-22, the Phantomz were forced to punt from their own endzone. The kick was short and was collected off the turf by Ta Shaun Leigh who returned the ball 31-yards for a touchdown to put Washington up by two scores.

Kansas City Glory at Mississippi Lady Panthers

Final Score: 14-12

After Mississippi quarterback Regina Jackson scrambled for a touchdown with less than one minute to play to get the Lady Panthers within two points, the Kansas City Glory defense made a devastating stop to prevent the attempted two-point conversion. Kansas City recovered the ensuing onside kick to earn their first victory of the season.

Las Vegas Silver Stars at Denver Bandits

Final Score: 6-10

Play of the Game: On fourth down with time running out in the fourth quarter, the Silver Stars ran a trick play that saw quarterback Shawnee Phillips flip the ball to backup QB Cindylou Rasaing who fired a rifle to wide receiver Denajha Kie at the goal line. The Bandits defense knocked the ball away to force a turnover on downs and secure the victory.

Houston Heat at Texas Elite Spartans

Final Score: 0-47

Play of the Game: Already up by 14 points on a rush by Rasan Gore and a reception by Amanda Heilman, the Elite Spartans opened the second quarter with a first-and-goal at the 10-yard line. Taking an inside hand-off on a run-pass option play, quarterback Brittany Bushman handed off to wide receiver Brittany Satterwhite who took the end-around in for the score to extend the lead to 20-0.
