WNFC PARTNERS WITH AFLAC TO BRING DISCOUNTED SUPPLEMENTAL COVERAGE TO WNFC ATHLETES

Today the WFNC announced a pilot program in 11 cities with AFLAC. The partnership launched to assist athletes on an individual basis.

Aflac is a Fortune 500 company, providing financial protection to more than 50 million people worldwide. When a policyholder or insured gets hurt, Aflac pays cash benefits fairly, promptly, and often in one day for eligible claims, directly to the insured. For more than six decades, Aflac voluntary insurance policies have given policyholders the opportunity to focus on recovery, not financial stress.

The partnership will give WNFC athletes in the pilot cities the ability to obtain significantly discounted coverage, and potential cash payouts for items such as MRIs, X-rays, Injury treatments, Physical therapy, Accident induced hospitalizations, Crutches, braces, and more…

Although in a pilot phase, the WNFC is working to expand the program in future years to be available to all states.

The pilot program opened to players who are residents of the following states: AL, AR, AZ, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, IA, IL, KS, KY, LA, ME, MN, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, WI, WV, & WY.
