The Women's National Football Conference (WNFC) proudly congratulates our CEO and Chairwoman, Odessa 'OJ' Jenkins, on being named to the 2025 Curve Power List, a prestigious honor celebrating LGBTQ+ women and nonbinary leaders who are shaping culture, driving innovation, and creating lasting change across the U.S.

The Curve Power List, presented by The Curve Foundation, was unveiled on April 21 in celebration of Lesbian Visibility Week. This annual list highlights influential LGBTQ+ figures across sports, business, entertainment, policy, and social advocacy, amplifying the voices of those transforming their industries and communities. Jenkins is recognized alongside groundbreaking leaders from Fortune 500 companies, professional sports leagues, Hollywood, and social justice movements.
A trailblazer in women’s sports and business, OJ is one of the few Black women in sports history to raise over $1 million in capital for a majority woman-owned sports organization. Under her leadership, the WNFC has rapidly evolved into one of the most-watched and fastest-growing women’s sports leagues in the world. The league recently announced its 2025 IX Cup Championship Game will air live on ESPN2, a historic first.
“I’m deeply honored to be included among so many powerful and inspiring leaders,” said Jenkins. “This recognition is a reflection of every player, coach, partner, and fan who believes in a future where women and LGBTQIA+ people thrive in football, in leadership, and in life. Representation matters, and we’re proving what’s possible every single day.”
Jenkins' inclusion on the 2025 Curve Power List underscores her ongoing impact as a champion for equity, inclusion, and visibility in sports. Her story from a top collegiate athlete to an executive breaking barriers in male-dominated industries continues to inspire a new generation of leaders and athletes.
