WNFC Announces Portland, Oregon and Nashville, Tennessee as Host Cities for 2025 Conference Finals Tournaments

The Women’s National Football Conference (WNFC) has officially awarded the 2025 Conference Finals Tournament bids to the Oregon Ravens and Tennessee Trojans, marking a historic first for both cities.

The Eastern Conference Finals will be hosted in Nashville by the Tennessee Trojans, while the Western Conference Finals will take place in Portland, led by the Oregon Ravens. These one-of-a-kind tournaments will run from June 5-7, 2025, showcasing the best in tackle and flag football.

A New Era of Playoff Football

Each year, the WNFC delivers a unique pro football playoff format, with a week-long competition that amplifies the talent, grit, and athleticism of the league’s top teams. The 2025 Conference Finals will feature:

  • Over 500 women's football athletes competing to advance to the IX Cup Championship.

  • Thousands of fans are expected to attend, bringing national excitement to both cities.

  • A geographic playoff format ensuring high-level competition and regional fan engagement.

  • The top two teams from each division earn automatic entry.

  • Wildcard spots for the #7 and #8 overall seeds based on end-of-season rankings.

More Than a Game… A Movement

"Although known as ‘Music City,’ Nashville is recognized as a destination for sports entertainment. Nashville’s support of women in sports has attracted high-profile events such as the She Believes Cup, and Athletes Unlimited, and recently resulted in a bid for a WNBA team. The Tennessee Trojans are thrilled to have the opportunity to showcase women’s professional football as host of the 2025 Eastern Conference Playoffs. As the host city, WNFC athletes and fans will get to experience why Nashville is not just a premier sports city, but a worldwide travel destination.” - Rachael Ortiz-Marsh, Owner of the Tennessee Trojans

The 2025 Conference Finals will be more than just a championship qualifier, they will be a celebration of women’s sports, community, and culture. The WNFC is proud to collaborate with The Sports Bra, the world-famous, women’s sports-focused bar based in Portland, Oregon. This partnership will bring an exclusive apparel launch, available only at the two tournament locations, further uniting fans and amplifying the moment.

"This is about igniting a movement that puts women in the spotlight where they belong. Nashville and Portland, get ready, your cities are about to witness history," said WNFC Commissioner, Janice Masters.

The WNFC Conference Finals are must-attend events for sports fans, city officials, and brands looking to make an impact. These tournaments will bring national attention, economic opportunities, and unparalleled energy to both cities. Local businesses, media, and community leaders are encouraged to get involved and be part of a game-changing moment for women’s sports.

Oana Dumitrescu, Owner of the Oregon Ravens, highlighted Portland’s growing presence in women’s sports: "The Oregon Ravens are on a mission to champion women and women’s sports, and we’re just getting started! From The Sports Bra, the first bar dedicated solely to showcasing women’s sports, to the WNBA’s expansion into the Northwest, Portland is making waves as a powerhouse for female athletes. We’re beyond thrilled to be part of this movement, building a community that uplifts, supports, and celebrates women in sports like never before!"
