As the WNFC races toward Championship Weekend at The Star in Frisco, the league is seeing a surge of new stars, jaw-dropping performances, and records-in-the-making.

With four weeks left in the regular season, the question isn't just who’s on top now, but who’s built to stay there, and how do they stack up against legends of the past?

We break down the league’s most electric performers on offense, defense, and special teams, comparing them against the last two years of WNFC greatness and all-time highs. This is the ultimate guide to who's dominating and who's closing in fast.

OVERALL LEAGUE LEADERS TO WATCH

These players are putting up numbers that place them firmly in the MVP conversation:

  • Dajour Miles (WR, Winds) – Leads the league in total points (38) and touchdowns (6). She’s on pace to surpass the single-season scoring mark (69, Jasmine Ballard, 2023).

  • Destanie Yarbrough (RB, Elite Spartans) – Has 277 rushing yards, 24 points, and 4 TDs, trending toward her 2024 breakout season and a possible return to her 2021 form.

  • Madeline Violette (LB, Winds) – With 43 total tackles through four weeks, she's pacing ahead of Ally Cleveland’s 2023 mark of 73.

WHO’S IN POSITION TO MAKE HISTORY?

With four games left, several teams are giving their stars the stage:

  • Winds & Rebellion – High-output offenses that feed stat leaders.

  • Panthers – Balanced attack and aggressive D puts players like Thomas and Brown in scoring and turnover positions weekly.

  • Elite Spartans – Quietly putting up legacy numbers. Angel, Yarbrough, and McBay are a championship-caliber trio.

WHO’S LETTING STARS EAT?

  • Falconz, Truth, and Mambas defenses have allowed some of the biggest breakout games this season.

  • Silver Stars, while ranked mid-pack have allowed big plays in the air and on the ground.

Predicted Final Stat Leaders: WNFC 2025 Midseason Forecast

As we hit the backstretch of the 2025 WNFC regular season, some names are pulling ahead in the race for individual greatness. Factoring in each player’s current performance and remaining schedule, plus which defenses “let stars eat” here’s who we expect to finish at the top across offense, defense, and special teams.

Passing Yards Leaders

1. Sarah Teubner (Chicago Winds)

Teubner has thrown for 498 yards and a league-best 10 touchdowns with only 1 interception. With upcoming games against Atlanta and Kansas City, both vulnerable in pass coverage, Teubner is primed to eclipse the 950-yard mark and could even challenge the 1,000-yard milestone.

  • Strong efficiency: 105.2 passer rating

  • Two favorable matchups left

  • On pace to finish with 17–20 TDs

2. Karen Mulligan (Jersey Shore Wave)

Mulligan leads the league in yards through Week 4 but faces a much tougher closing stretch, including a stingy Prodigy defense.

  • 621 passing yards so far

  • Volume passer but lower efficiency

  • Projected finish: ~900 yards

3. Michelle Angel (Texas Elite Spartans)

With 426 yards and 8 touchdowns already, Angel remains highly efficient. However, upcoming games against Mississippi, strong on defense may limit her upside. She will be looking to go big against Denver and Houston.

  • 61.7% completion rate

  • Faces two of the league’s best defenses

  • Likely finishes between 800–900 yards

Rushing Yards Leaders

1. Regina Escoto Macias (San Diego Rebellion)

Escoto has 288 rushing yards at 8.5 yards per carry and will benefit from games against Las Vegas, Oregon, and Denver, all among the league’s most porous run defenses.

  • High volume and explosive play potential

  • Could reach 675–700 yards

  • Contender for WNFC rushing title

2. Destanie Yarbrough (Texas Elite Spartans)

The power back from TES sits at 277 yards and has proven she can produce in big moments. Despite facing Mississippi, her ability to break long runs keeps her in the top three.

  • 7.7 yards per carry

  • Reliable red-zone option

  • Projected finish: 600–625 yards

3. Kesz Wesley (San Diego Rebellion)

Splitting touches with Escoto, Wesley still manages explosive production and will benefit from the same closing schedule.

  • 244 rushing yards and 4 TDs

  • Great change-of-pace complement

  • Could hit 575 yards by season’s end

Receiving Yards Leaders

1. Dajour Miles (Chicago Winds)

With 241 receiving yards and 6 touchdowns, Miles is the clear WR1 for the most efficient passer in the league. Her remaining matchups favor deep ball success, putting her in position to finish with historic numbers.

  • Favorite target for Teubner

  • Could hit 525–550 yards and 10+ TDs

  • Elite in YAC and red zone

2. Madison Grayson (Jersey Shore Wave)

Grayson thrives on the deep ball, with 207 yards on just 12 catches. Even with a tough matchup ahead, her explosive ability keeps her near the top.

  • 17.2 yards per catch

  • Likely to finish around 475–500 yards

3. Cheyanne Kurth (Oregon Ravens)

The ultimate big-play threat, Kurth averages 44 yards per catch. With upcoming games against Las Vegas and LA, both vulnerable in the secondary, she could leapfrog late in the season.

  • Already has a 76-yard catch

  • Projection: 425–450 yards

Tackle Leaders

1. Madeline Violette (Chicago Winds)

Currently with 43 total tackles, Violette is averaging over 10 per game and facing two teams that like to run the ball right at the second level.

  • Could break the WNFC tackle record

  • Projected final: ~90 tackles

2. Kimberly Rose (Jersey Shore Wave)

Rose has 30 tackles and plays on a defense that’s often on the field. Her volume gives her a shot to finish strong.

  • 5.5 tackles for loss already

  • Could hit 70+ total tackles

3. Katie Claxton (San Diego Rebellion)

A balanced linebacker with solid production, Claxton will be gifted by teams like Oregon and Denver, who rely on the run.

  • 5 tackles for loss

  • Projected finish: ~65 tackles

Sack Leaders

1. Alexis Greer (Oregon Ravens)

Leading with 3 sacks, Greer faces Las Vegas and LA, both among the worst in pass protection.

  • Will likely feast in Week 6 and 7

  • Could finish with 8–9 sacks

2. Shardonay Jenkins (Mississippi Panthers)

A dominant edge player, but upcoming games against quick-release offenses (Texas and Atlanta) may limit sack chances.

  • Already tied for the league lead

  • Expect 6+ sacks

3. Jazmin Gamble (Los Angeles Legends)

Steady pressure and a strong finish against Seattle may land her in the top three.

  • Could hit 5.5 sacks

Interception Leaders

1. Myla Somerville (Washington Prodigy)

Somerville has 3 INTs already and faces Houston, Jersey Shore, and Tennessee — all known for turnover-prone passing.

  • Elite ball skills

  • Could finish with 5–6 INTs

2. Diamond Scott (Florida Avengers)

With a nose for the ball and a physical style, Scott is due for more picks late in the season.

  • Faces MISS and HOU

  • Likely to reach 4+ interceptions

3. Starry Bady (Tennessee Trojans)

Quietly consistent, Bady will benefit from facing pass-heavy Washington and Kansas City in the final stretch.

  • Could close out with 4 INTs

Special Teams Leaders

Kick Return Leader: Brittany Jones (Denver Bandits)

Jones has 192 yards and a return TD. With games left against Texas and Chicago, both teams that allow return lanes, she’s likely to finish on top.

  • Projected: 400+ return yards, 2 TDs

Punt Return Leader: Tara Thomas (Mississippi Panthers)

Thomas has 93 yards and a touchdown already. With a game against Atlanta’s shaky punt coverage, she may add another to her resume.

  • Projected: ~190 yards, 2 TDs

Other Notables:

  • Kay Lewis (Seattle) – quietly stacking return yards vs LA and UTAH

  • DAjah Scott (MISS) – game-changing big plays could lead to run at overall TD leader board
