Team Captains and Potential Players Announced For Tomorrow Night's 2023 WNFC All-Pro Draft

The WNFC today announced the full list of players who will be invited into the league's 2023 All-Pro draft. Players who are selected will participate in the All-Pro Game sponsored by adidas, at the Star in Frisco (June 25 - Ford Center).

Selections for this year's draft pool were determined by the consensus votes of owners, coaches, and fans. Each group's vote counted toward determining the 163 WNFC athletes who were entered into the draft. Engagement for the 2023 public fan vote increased by 100%!

The next step in the All-Pro selection process is the LIVE Draft. Each All-Pro team will have a "speaking captain." The speaking captain from each team will participate in the virtual "draft" of athletes from the full list of All-Pro selections. The speaking captains will each select 55 athletes in the live draft. 110 of 163 athletes will be drafted. Athletes who are not selected during the draft will be designated as All-Pro alternates.

The 2023 Speaking captains will be Atlanta Phoenix QB Melyse Brown (Team 1), and Mississippi Panthers QB, Rasan Gore (Team 2). Team names will be revealed during the live draft tomorrow night. The full team captain list for each team is as follows (all pro captains are automatically drafted to their respective teams):

Jasmin Ballard (RB) - Washington Prodigy

LaShanda Griffin (DB) Mississippi Panthers

Brittany O'Connor (DL) - Oregon Ravens

TEAM 2:

Rasan Gore (QB) - Mississippi Panthers

Adriana Gutierrez (RB) - San Diego Rebellion

Angie Wells (DB) - Houston Mambas

AJ Roby (DL) - Utah Falconz

THE DRAFT:

The WNFC All-Pro Draft Show will take place live on Wednesday, May 31 on WNFC Youtube and Facebook channels. Tune in to see if your favorite WNFC athlete will be drafted to participate in this year's All-Pro game.

Each speaking campaign will be on the clock to select 55 players. The draft will be conducted by position group. Each team will draft players who fit into the following positions: 3QBs, 4RBs, 7WRs, 2TEs, 10OL, 8DL, 8LBs, 8DBs, 2K, 3 Free Picks (any position) Here's the full list of 2023 Draft Eligible Players:
