Organizers will add a new event in 2022 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of title IX and highlight the work of Got Her Back 501c3 charity. The Gala will serve as a fundraiser for the charity (founded by WNFC execs) to celebrate girls & women in football. The mission of Got Her Back is to create connections & confidence in female football players through visibility, allyship, education, and mentorship. The event is expected to be a star-studded celebration for the good of the game.

The weekend will kick off with a mini-conference hosted by WNFC Commissioner Janice Masters. The event will focus on updating attendees on WNFC business development and working with attendees on how to start or advance their careers in sports.

For the second year in a row, fans of all ages will head to the Sports Academy at The Star for interactive experiences. IX CUP Fan Fest is a family-friendly event that will include games, clinics, pep rally, DJ, celebrity guest appearances, player autograph signings, media day, and exhibits celebrating women’s football and its history. Fans can participate in TD dance contests and more.

The WNFC Championship Breakfast event continues to be one of the most popular events of the weekend. The event has been sold out every year. The breakfast will be hosted at The Westin Stonebriar and will highlight a panel of professional sports alumni, sports and media executives, and leaders from league sponsors, discussing the growth and development of women and girls in sports (football).
